    Location:  Various locations indoor and out around Little Rock 

    Module 1: Sept. 16-18 Introduction/Yoga Humanities/Ayurveda 101

    Module 2: Sept. 30-10/2 Anatomy/Physiology/Asana Basics/Biomechanics/Sanskrit

    Module 3:  Oct. 14-16 Techniques/Training/Practice

    Sequencing & Theming Classes/Etiquette/Moral and Ethical Obligations/Mantras & Chanting

    Module 4: Nov. 11-13 Pranayama/Subtle Body/Asana

    Koshas, Vayus, Energetic Body 

    (Marma Points, Chakra System, Mudras)

    Module 5:  Dec. 9-11 Professional Essentials/Teaching Methodology

    Assist, Practice Teach, How to Grow Your Practice

    Module 6:  Jan 6-8 Professional Development

    Practice Teach, Test, and Graduation


    Our 200-Hour Curriculum uniquely blends the history and philosophical teachings of yoga with the essential components of asana, anatomy, and sequencing.  The curriculum is delivered both hands-on and personalized, encouraging a well-rounded approach to developing both your personal practice and your teaching skills.  The training is specifically designed to help you:

    Advance your study of asana (including proper alignment, benefits, and contraindications of the physical postures)

    Understand the principles of anatomy and body mechanics

    Explore the science and art of sequencing

    Learn and practice hands-on & verbal adjustments

    See and interpret how energy moves through the body

    Use props to improve or modify a posture

    Cultivate your voice, both as a teacher and as an individual

    Build confidence through practice teaching

    Gain a broader understanding of yoga history and philosophy

    Learn and define the Sanskrit names of postures.

    TRAINER:  David Shropshire, 200 RYT, LMT, CFSC

    Weekend Schedule

    Fridays 5:30PM-8:30PM

    Saturdays 8:00AM-4:00PM

    Sundays. 8:00AM-12:00PM

    MUST BE ABLE TO DEDICATE 5 HOURS EACH WEEK DURING OCT-FEB FOR ONE ON ONES, YOGA CLASSES, AND ASSIGNMENTS 

    Pricing:

    Tuition is $2200 

    Payment Plan Price $2500

    $500 Deposit Due by 9/25/21

    Payments of $400 per month by Module 6 with last payment being $400

    No refunds after 1st weekend.
